Lump In The Crease Of Velo, Swollen, Irregular Periods, Back Pain, Top Of The Leg. Advice?

Hi, I just noticed a lump in the crease of my velo. Yesterday. I kept messing with it and it appears like it swollen more. Almost like a pinkt finger but not aslong. At first I pushed blend and it felt like make the size of a dime or smaller. It also is a little swollen on the side of it. I am almost forty years old. My periods were becoming shorter each month...it was running every 23- 24 days now its about every 17 - 18 days. One month I was two weeks late. Before the last six months or so they have been pretty normal around every 28 days or so. Also been having lower back or hip pain that goes to by butt and sometime the top of my leg? Any advice? I'm freaking.

Hello ma'am.

Your age is close to the international average for experiencing pre-menopausal symptoms; which could be the cause for the menstrual irregularities, but then again, that is just one of the few assumptions.

Other possible cause could be infections, which could result in a swollen lymph node that you are palpating as a lump. Youe sexual status and other details like number of sexual partners, last sexual encounter, know partner, etc; would have also helped.

Of course it is best the lump is examined along with an elaborate physical evaluation is conducted to rule out other causes for swollen lymph nodes in the region.

The best advice I can give you now is for you to visit your doctor for an elaborate examination, this would be the wisest thing to do as of now.

Best wishes.
