Hello and welcome to HCM,
A lump in the throat needs to be investigated.
Is the lump associated with any change in voice?
You need to consult an
ENT specialist for complete clinical examination of the throat.
A lump in the throat can be due to a growth which should be urgently investigated.
Constant gas production, belching, burping, and
heartburn suggest
indigestion and regurgitation.
There are some measures that you can take to relieve these symptoms.
Avoid spicy and fatty foods.
Use a pillow during sleeping.
Avoid foods which aggravate the symptoms.
You can take
proton pump inhibitors (eg
Rabeprazole) before meals to suppress these symptoms.
An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy of the esophagus and stomach is required to look for any mucosal abnormality, ulcer, growth, etc.
Thanks and take care
