Lump On Back Of Neck, Looks Like Cyst. Consulted Doctor. Pain Occurring After 2 Weeks, Reddish, Tender To Touch

hi, i have a marble sized lump in the back of my neck that looked like a cyst. i had it checked by a doctor 10 years ago and he said it was nothing if it didnt bother me we could just leave it alone. around 2 weeks ago after doing situps i felt a pain that started on my shoulders that went up to the lump. now the lump looks more like a lipoma and is reddish and tender to the touch. i am really worried..

It can also be a infected cyst as with pus as there are signs of inflammation seen.
Get it checked by general surgeon and if he suspects pus in it, get it drained immediately. Pus anywhere in the body has to be drained or it can get spread and might turn dangerous.
Hope this might help!
