Lump On Calf Muscle, Attached To Bone, Shooting Pain In Muscles Behind Calf. Treatment?

Hello, I have a painful lump on the right side of my calf that seems to be attached to the bone that runs down the front of my leg. The lump is about two or three inches down from my knee and the lump itself is about an inch long. The pain from it shoots into the muscles in the back of my calf. Any clue as to what this could be?

Dear friend, welcome to HCM.

How long has the lump been there?
Was there any trauma to that bone?
Does it hurt on walking?
Is the pain constant or in bursts?

Is the lump bony hard and movable or fixed?

If immovable, hard ,and dull aching , it could be a bone outgrowth.
Get an ortho opinion and an Xray of Tibia-fibula AP and lateral views to see what it is.

Deep muscle bleeds or soft tissue tumours sometimes come like this.
