Lumps In Baby Neck, Kindly Suggest What Could This Be ?

Hi I have just noticed that my 8 month old baby has three pea sized lumps under the skin at the side of his neck. I am so worried what could this be?

You should have a peadiatrician see your baby.These could be enlarged lymph nodes but confirmation is required.It usually indicates some sort of infection.Please get help.

These lumps are painful, mobile or not? Most likely, they may be enlarged lymph glands but a clinical examination by your child specialist is essential. Cause may be as benign as from head lice to infections like TB. See a pediatrician ASAP. Good luck.

When did these swellings appear?Generally in kids due to repeated throat infections , lymph node s swell up.Then they would be painful too.It could be infectious.This needs medical evaluation , for sure , with a Pediatrician.I advise you to visit your Pediatrician and get evaluated.He may advise few antibiotics to treat any infection.
