MRI Showed Subcortical Cyst Of The Poserosuperior At Anatomic Neck Junction, Tendinosis, Suspicion Of Chronic Tear. Meaning?
I just received an mri report stating that there is a subcortical cyst of the poserosuperior anatomic neck junction in the proximity of the infraspinatus at the insertion. also, it says there is tendinosis and intrasubstance partial tear of the subscapularis tendon , superior tendinous bundles. pooe visualization of the intraarticular long head of the biceps tendon, anterosuperior labrum and biceps anchor. chronic tear is suspected, what does all that mean? thank you
Dear friend, welcome to HCM.
did you have injury/ jerk to the arm?
the report says a partial tear of the muscle insertion into the arm bone with some fluid collection (cyst). chronic tear means there is some time delay after the injury/ or the injury is some tiem old.
consult your ortho doc on the issue and ged supervised treatment.
good luck.
take care and keep me posted on your progress.
