Mammogram Of Breast Showed Calcification Clusters. Should I Go For Breast Biopsy As Well?
hi.. i went for a mamogram of the breast and it showed that i had micro calcification clusters and the radioligist wanted a local doctor to take out the calcification by surgery but my doctor wants me to see a specilist for breast biopsy ..i read on the computer that when the calcification is numerous and in clusters its most likely cancer..what do you think and some feedback would help..thanks..
Dear, in my opinion the calcification seen in the mammogram should be seen with suspicion and a biopsy is very much needed rule out cancer. truly, Dr. J. Ticku
