Meaning Of Imaging Report C4-5 Tiny Central Disc Protrusion That Is Contiguous With Anterior Margin
in 2004 this is what a diagnostic imaging reported: C4-5 tiny central disc protrusion that is contiguous with the anterior margin of the spinal cord but does not produce significant stenosis. C5-6 significant diffuse spondylotic ridging with slight retrolistthesis of C5 on C6. This is associated with some mild cord compression and lack of CSF around the entirety of the cord consistent with significant moderate to severe spinal stenosis. No cord signal alteration to suggest myelomalacia. With all that said I am 58 yrs old and in good shape. I have been having headaches which chiropractic in the last couple of years helps. There is still occasional numbing of the face(mild). My neck is always crunching and quite stiff. Should I see a neurosurgeon?
