Interestingly, not only does this daily regimen reduce heart attack risk, but it may also reduce the risk for colon cancer.
What is important to realize is that to prevent heart attacks it is more important to maintain a normal body weight, follow a low fat (and cholesterol) diet, no smokng, and regular exercise. All of these have a much MUCH greater influence on reducing heart attack risk than taking daily aspirin.
