Medication For Swelling Of The Chest And Pain With COPD?

Wondering if there is anything I can take for swelling of the chest & pain with COPD? It will swell all of the sudden but sometimes stays swollen for several hours. Someone said that I may have a condition that people with respiratory issues ~ that means swallowing air?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
COPD ( chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ) patients are at increased risk for cardiac disease s like heart failure and coronary artery disease.
So we need to rule out these causes first for your symptoms.
So consult cardiologist and get done
1. ECG
2. 2d echo
3. Coronary angiography if required.
And swallowing air will not cause pain and chest swelling. So better to consult cardiologist and rule out cardiac cause first.
