You can take Primolut-N 5mg for Postponement of menstruation 3 times/day starting 3 days before expected onset of your Period, as it is always ideal. You haven't mentioned when the Function is and when was your LMP? You may want to continue it until you don't want them to happen. The bleeding will happen after 3 to 5 days of stopping it. But, it is my sincere request to you that, you should be getting yourself examined by a Gynecologist so that she can examine you and suggest the best medicine which suitable to your Health.

The important thing you have to keep in mind if you are planning to prepone menses is that you will have to take pills for 5 days and after completing of the course you will get menses in a period of 1 week and it may last for few days as usual.So if you think in such a thing is possible before puja in your house then you can take it.But i guess the better option will be to take medicines to postpone the periods so that you can continue medicines till you finish the religious function and if you stop the tablets next day of the function then you may get periods in a week and it will be safer option as far as the time is concerned;and you will have to start the tablets at least a week before and continue till you finish the function.For tablets please consult your family doctor she may prescribe you the required tablets.
