Middle Mertz, Bloating, Pain Post Bowels, Abdominal Pain Near Genitals. History Of Hernias. Treatment?
Hi, Im a 23 year old female who in the last two years (why the late onset) has been experiencing what my gyno called middlemertz. It hurts pretty bad sometimes ( 7/10) and is accompained by bloating , pain after bowel movments, sharp pain in lower abdomen near genitals, and a kind of strained heavy feeling in my lower stomach. My mother had an abdominal hernia a couple years ago and I worry that this might be a hernia too. What shoud I do?
Hello Matti,
Mittlesmerz is ovulation pain which occurs about 14 days before mensus. so the late onset can be because some women start ovulating late, the initial cycles are anovulatory. this is a normal phenomenon, there is nothing wrong with this. This pain cannot be due to hernia, so no need to worry about that. Stop being apprehensive about it. You can take a antispasmodic and analgesic for the pain.
According to your questions it seems to be symptoms of water born infections or some times overeating, indigestion may cause this symptoms take divided meals and take more fruits. You may investigate stool routine examinations to find out protozoal infections.
