Mild Itching, Exfoliation Of Skin On Fingers After Touching One With Psoriasis Vulgaris. Is It Communicable?
i touched a patient who is suffering with psoriasis vulgaris. Next day, i got mild itching and exfoliation of skin on my fingers. i want to whether psoriasis is communicable. My dermatologist has said to me that i am suffering from contact dermatitis and he prescribed me initially propyzole cream and levocetrizine . i have no relief with symptoms. once again, i consulted him and he changed the drug to HH Salic 6 ointment and oral flucanozole and levocetrizine. i am suffering from diabetes for the past 6 years and i am in good control with oral medications.
Hello Sir,
Psoriasis is not communicable and it is impossible to get it through touch - unlike a ringworm or scabies that do spread on touch/contact.
You may continue with the prescribed medicines.
As per Ayurveda, you may apply Eladi Keram oil on the affected part.
Internally take Khadiradi Kashayam (20 ml with equal water twice - morning and night - half an hour before meals) for about 15 days.
Take care.
Regards

Mild Itching, Exfoliation Of Skin On Fingers After Touching One With Psoriasis Vulgaris. Is It Communicable?
Hello Psoriasis is not communicable. Doctor is treating you for a fungal infection as well as for contact dermatitis. That s the rain he had given fluconazole and propyzole cream. I would recommend that you continue with HH Salic 6 ointment. If the diagnosis is contact dermatitis that will be helpful.
