Mild Pain In The Abdomen, Gas, Acid Reflex And Irregular Bowel Movement. Suggest
I have seen a gastroenterologist yesterday because of acid reflux, gas and irregularity on my bowel movement. He pressed on my upper and mid part of my abdomen and I feel pain not really bad pain but mild. I know that I have these problems due to skipping meals and eating late nights (spicy foods) and stress for the passed 6 yrs. I wanted to know what the pain means..I hope it is nothing serious and can be cured by nexium. i have changed my diet since then. Just eating bland foods right now. I am also having issues with my heart rate. I walk a short distance and it goes up. Please help.
Hello! For acid reflux: 1. Take PPI as you have mentioned along with panprokinetic agent like itopride 150mg od before breakfast 2. Never lie down soon after meals at least for 45 min 3. Dont take complete meal at a time ie take small frequent meals 4. Avoid diet that contains lots of fat or oil 5. take regular meals 6.Dont wear tight clothes that may increase yourabdominal pressure and leads to more reflux 7. Do regular exercise at least 30min /day 8. Do reduce your weight if you are obese or overweight and this is must
Increase in heart after walking iss normal phenomenon.However if you will regular exercise your heart rate will come down.
