Hello
PCOD patients have this problem of irregular periods and weight gain and this happens because of hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance.
You must control your weight by calorie restriction and go for daily good amount of regular exercises and take METFORMIN 500 mg twice daily. These measures help in reducing your weight as well as insulin resistance.
Failure to do this will cause infertility.
Best would be to consult a GYNEC and act according to her advice.
Thanks
Hello,
History noted. You are diagnosed with PCOS. It is a treatable condition.
My suggestion is to consult your gynecologist and start with regular medications which will help you to avoid gaining of much weight, decrease unusual hair growth and helps you becoming pregnant earlier after marriage.
You will be prescribed with a Glucophage tablet which will help you to make your periods regular, prevents you from type 2 diabetes and helps you loose weight. Also LHRH analogs will help you in regularizing periods. For permanent hair removal you can opt electrolysis and laser hair removal.
Kindly Follow healthy food habits with balanced diet and drink adequate water daily.Follow the above means which will gradually help you in reducing your weight. Along with all these go for a brisk walk for 1 hour in the morning.
The dose of meprate consumed is not mentioned. The medroxyprogesterone acetate, the active ingredient level has to fall to 0.1ng/ml in blood for you to menstruate.Based on the dose taken, it may take few more days for you to resume menstruation.
You will become fine.
Good day.
