Missed Periods After Started Taking Duphaston. Am I Pregnant ?
Hi I'm Charlyne, Im taking Duphaston for 2 months now and i usally got my menstration after 5 days, I also take clomid 1st day of my menstration good for 5 days, and now for 2 months taking duphaston my period missed. Please advise if I am possibly pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for the query. If you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy. Sometimes after stopping duphaston it will take around 7 to 10 days to get the withdrawal bleeding. So, wait for few more days. If you do not get periods even after that, go for urine pregnancy test once. If the test comes negative, once consult gynecologist and get evaluated to find out the exact cause for your delayed periods. With her advice go for thyroid profile, ultrasound, estimation of prolactin levels etc. According to the reports, further management can be planned. Take care.
