Hi,
its true the commonest cause of missed periods in a female of reproductive age is pregnancy. Other gold standard pregnancy tests are availaible. You can visit your physician for a blood sample B HCG test and an obstetric or abdomino pelvis ultrasound. This shall reveal the exact nature of what is within you. There are psychological situations where a woman feels she is pregnant and can even develop all signs of pregnancy. You gynecologist shall be the best person to evaluate and explain all these to you.
Visit your gynecologist for a proper assessment,
thanks and best of luck,
Luchuo, MD.
