Missed Periods, Lactating, Heightened Sense Of Smell. Negative Pregnancy Test. Causes For Symptoms?

i have taken a home pregnancy test and went to the XXXXX pregnancy center for a pregnancy test which were both negitive. however i have missed a period and i am lactating, what could cause this? i also have a high sense of smell and i tend to get very sick when i smell something gross. also i have tender and swollen breasts and morning and night sickness

Hi Alecsmom,
I think with missed period and lactating, after a pregnancy is excluded, you need to do two more important blood tests i.e- serum prolactin and thyroid profile.Well if any or both of these are abnormal, you need to be treated accordingly. I cant exactly correlate the the abnormal smell sense with your problems.However if you are having a problem with vision with high prolactin reports , it need immediate attention and further testing. So good luck and proceed.
