Missing Period, Bloated Stomach, White Discharge, Had Sex During Ovulation Period. Negative Test Results. Advice?
hi doctor, my last period was on june 17th after I stopped taking my ocp tablet yasmine last month.i had sex with my partner during the ovulation week. This month i.e. july i have had no periods..i took a home pregnancy test on 22 july morning and it showed negative. my stomach is bloated up and i have white discharge. plz advice.

If you have been having regular 28-30 day cycles prior to this, you may get a positive pregnancy test about 3 weeks after ovulation had you conceived. To get an earlier confirmation, you may get a serum beta-hCG assay and this is precise. For a HPT to be positive, you should wait for 3-7 days after the expected period and perform the test with a fresh early morning sample. Hope this helps. Take care.
