Missing Periods. Prescribed With Progynova And Meprate. When Should I Start These Medications?
Hi, i am kristina 40years old. I have no my natural period about 2 years. Bec of my Fsh and Lh so high.I went to endocrinology to check my hormones and he found that ,so he said seems to early menopause coming...it's many reasons could be..i lost 45 pounds before my periods issue came.Until my drastic diet i had my period timely.
I have 3 kids and got pregnant very easy ..total i was pregnant 7 times , i did 4 abortions..which i regret of course..
I divorsed and remarried 6 years ago but we dont have our baby together.. So my second husband and me ofcourse would like to have a baby ..
So, my endocrinogist prescribed me to take bromocriptine(parlodel) to lowe my hormons .And it is succeeed. My hormons after one months treatment in a normal range.
After 3 months we have plan to do egg donor . And fertility doctor peescribed take Meprate and Progynova for 3 cycles.So, my question is when should i start if i have no my periods yet...He said to me i should start take Progynova for 21 days from 5 to 25 days of my period.And Meprate from 16 to 25 days of my period for 1o days. Could u suggest me when should i start take if i have no my period.How can i count it??

thanks for your query.
Since you are amenorrhoeic, you can start taking progynova right away.
Take it for 21 days as suggested, and start Meprate from the 16th day of Progynova intake.
Of course, consult your doctor before you start taking the drugs as I suggested.
