Mosquito Bite Turned Into Blister, Feet Feels Broken. What To Do?

hi, i am currently in Tanzania and i got bitten by something during the night. Initially it looked like a regular mosquito bite and then turned into a blister which i popped and clear fluid came out. Now it feels as if my foot is broken, i cannot walk on it. What could this be? What should i do?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

In light of the pain that you are experiencing in the limb, it is possible that there is infection of the underlying soft tissue. This is called cellulitis. Cellulitis is normally associated with swelling, increased redness, pain and increased warmth of the area.

You may want to consider visiting a doctor for an assessment. This would include physical assessment.
Antibiotics may be needed.

I hope this helps
