Motorbike Accident. X-ray Shows ACL Joint Injury. Have Pain In Centre Of Back
I fell off my motorbike today and went to hospital with shoulder I thought was dislocated or broken. They xrayed my shoulder and its acl joint but I ve had pain in the centre of my back which I did mention to the doctors but theybwere not concerned.. The pain is ok when I m sitting down but moving or walking causes the pain in back
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. As you are not having significant pain during resting phase as in sitting position, it excludes any major bony injury to your vertebral column. The pain you are experiencing could be due to spinal muscle spasm or any injury to the spinous ligaments which typically produces pain during body movements. Simple xrays of the spine for the painful part will reveal any bony injury. And to know about the soft tissue problems of spine, an MRI scan is mandatory. Hope this helps
