Mucus At The Back Of The Throat. Taken Antibiotics. Remedy?

I have mucus in the back of my throat and its been there for 2 months now and it will not come out. I don't know what to do because my doctor put me on antibiotics for 10 day because he thought it was an infection. So as I was taking the medication the mucus was improving. Then when the 10 day process was done the mucus came back. What should I do?

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
You have mucus in the back of throat, and on antibiotics for 10 days and after that mucus come back. these all finding suggestive of pharyngitis not responding to that antibiotics, Better to go for Throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity and X ray PNS.

Thanks
