Muffled Ear, Dizziness In Mornings. Cleaning With Peroxide And Ear Wax. Suggestions?
Ive had a muffled or stopped up ear for a long while now. It seems worse if I sleep on that ear, I will wake up with it feeling even more stopped up. I also occasionally have dizziness in the morning after laying on the ear. I cant ear well with it stopped up as well. Have tried cleaning it with peroxide and ear wax removal drops. Any help appreciated.
regarding your problem, you need to see your ENT as soon as possible. Let the following be the checklist
1. complete ear examination after cleaning under microscope and get to know the status of the tympanic membrane or the drum 2. complete audiological examination including audiometry and tympanometry 3. Imaging study including CT of the temporal bones to get to know the state of the ear and bones of the ear. 4. Vestibular rehabilitation exercise for the control of your giddiness
Come back to me with the reports if possible
regards
