My 10 Year Old Son Experienced A Sudden Excruciating Pain

My 10 year old son experienced a sudden excruciating pain in right testicle after a brief shower two hours after his football practice ended. He had no noticeable injury or discomfort at practice. He is a very active boy and has never had this symptom prior. It began hurting for about five seconds then briefly subsided then came back and hasn't fully gone away. While laying in bed, if he does not "move his leg" it doesn't hurt as bad. He allowed me to inspect and I see no visual abnormal position or inflammation, and both testicles raised when he retracted his stomach muscles. He felt the urge to relieve his bowels/bladder, but only urinated with no extra discomfort. Shortly after onset I gave him 200 mg ibuprofin and is now sleeping 90 minutes later. It is 10:45 pm. Thank you, Pat Hinde
