My 10 year old son has a red area behind his ear on the upper cartilage that keeps forming one or two boils that pop and have white pus in them. This has been going on since February. Been to the dr. four times and tried 3 oral antibiotics. Also did a culture which did not grow anything. He was referred to a dermatologist but can't get in until October 28! Put Mupirocin on it daily. He is prone to eczema on the scalp and has allergies but is fine otherwise. Any ideas?
