My 67 year old sister has COPD and is on oxygen 24/7. She quit smoking 2.5 years ago, but her husband smokes in their bedroom and she sleeps in that smoky room. She was just diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer. It is a large mass in one lung. She sees an oncologist in two weeks, but we want more info now. What are her chances for a good recovery if she goes through chemo or PDT?
