My 93 Year Old Mom Had A Cholecystectomy 4 Weeks

My 93 year old mom had a Cholecystectomy 4 weeks ago. She has significant swelling most visibly in her legs: knees, calves and feet. She is on 20 mgs of Furosemide daily since leaving the hospital 1 1/2 weeks ago. The swelling has worsened today. Is this an emergency that I should let her doctor know on a Sat night?
