My Dad Has Parkinson's And In The Hospital With Double

My Dad has Parkinson's and in the hospital with double pneumonia believe from aspiration. This would be the second time he has had this issue with in six months. I believe the diagnoses is correct per the swallow test.
But when he gets sick like the is very incoherent and is aggressive to the nurses. They gave him Haldol and it chilled him out for a pinch of time but I concerned if it may amplify his aggression when it wears off and may lead to more and more. He is 89 years old.
Just asking an opion.
Thanks
