My Doctor prescribed Lisinopril, 10 mg. for me to take instead of triamterene. After taking Lisinopril for two weeks, I develop a very bad and deep caugh. After taking Lisinopril for a month, my Doctor told me the medication had caused the caugh. He then (9/15) prescribed Amlodipine Besylate, 5 mg. for me. My question is: How long will this caugh last. My throat feels like it closes up and I am having some pain in my chest;thus the caugh.
