My Grandpa Is Having Over A Year Of Severe Lower Back Pain, He Has Aneurysm
My Grandpa recently found out, after having over a year of severe lower back pain , that he has an aneurysm . It is 7 cm long but I m not real sure where its located on his body. My question is: What are my grandfathers chances of survival if he gets the surgery recommended by his family doctor; and if he refuses the surgery what could the outcome be as far as time is concerned ?
hai ,
Low back pain due to aneurysm is often mechanical . The anuerysm has certain other features to determine the need for surgery and vascular surgeons are the best to give you the prognosis aspects.

thanks for the query,
well it looks like he has an abdominal aortic aneurysm from the back pain history but 7 cm is a pretty big one i think you should consult a vascular surgeon and try and get counselling done regarding the possible outcomes of the surgery.
take care.
