My PSA results are a little elevated 2.9, 21%. The doctor wants to do a biopsy but I'm not too conveniced. He said an MRI would be an alternative but from what I've read the MRI is more for after the biopsy and you have been diagnosed with cancer. What do you think? I'm 61 and my PSA readings have been pretty much same for the past 5 years.
