My Blood Pressure Is 141/66 , Is That A Bit Weird ?
Specifically, isn t the difference between the systolic and diastolic a bit out of wack? The blood pressure is high? I thought it was rather low (especially the diastolic). I ve had my bp several times before and it is always a higher systolic (usually between 130-160) with a normal to borderline diastolic (between 70-90). I am not on medication, have not been suggested to be on medication and am currently pregnant.
yes it is indeed "out of whack".
this much of difference between systolic and diastolic bp occurs in a condition called hyperkinetic circulation. it is physiological during pregnancy. it is also seen in hyperthyroidism, aortic valve disease, and most relevantly for u, in anemia. get a blood count done, and treat the anemia properly.
