My Daughter Has Had Swollen Red Tonsils With Bright Read

My daughter has had swollen red tonsils with bright read veins on them for 3 weeks. She also broke out into a terrible rash from head to toes. It went away with benadryl completely in 5 days. Saturday she was admitted with 104.5 fever and a white blood count of 27.5 they put her on strong antibiotics and released her Monday. But her white blood count was only 5 when they released her! They said she has Coxsackies virus but I want to know why her white blood count has went from SO high to SO low. She also started sweating profusely today at the dinner table. It's 64 in our house. Air is on. This makes no sense. Follow up tomorrow with a new pedi.
