Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My dentist asked me to swish with a liquid which was to determine if there was any type of infection in the mouth. The results indicated I had a high concentration of white blood cells in my mouth. Since there was no cut or abrasion of my gums the comment was made, "The only other time this has occured was with a patient who had lupus." Should I be concerned?
