My Ear Aches Very Badly
My ear aches very badly, I cant hear words exactly the way it is being delivered. i have to let it be repeated for me to understand. there s no fluid coming out but it aches. what will I gonna do I am 12 years old. hope you could help me. thank you

Hi, the main causes for ear pain in children are injury, infections of the ear, common cold, foreign body in the ear and due to impacted wax in the ear.
Whatever it may be, you must visit a ENT doctor, as there are chances for you to have complications like permanent loss of hearing, brain fluid infection etc.

most common cause of ear ache is due to some upper respiratort tract infection like adenoids etc. Also impacted wax can also cause difficulty in hearing. I would advise you to consult a ent surgeon and get a thorough ent examination done to identify the diagnosis. Also get a oral examination to ruke out caries or decay of teeth which can mimic ear pain. I hope i have answered your query. Take care
