My husband developed Stage 1 naso-pharyngeal carcinoma two years ago. A tumor was removed from the nasal pharynx - no further conventional treatment. No metastasis was noted at that time. Diet and supplements were used to strengthen the immune system. Had a clear PET scan one year ago. Another lesion was recently removed from the nasal pharynx also identified as naso-pharyngeal carcinoma. As far as we know no metastasis indicated. What life expectancy can we expect with no further treatment.
