Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband had a tetanus shot 5 days ago. He had a fever for a day or two, and now he has a rash around the spot on his arm where he received the shot. He started to feel his pulse in his hamstring and calf and also in his arm. It's not hurting, but it's very frequent and annoying to him. He doesn't have chest pain or arm pain. He doesn't have a sore neck or jaw. His wound that brought on the reason for the shot is healing nicely. The shot has made him miserable and weak. He gained his strength back after 4 days, then the pulsating leg and arm started. Is this normal? Should we be concerned?
