My Husband Is Suffering From Throat Infection And He Smokes A Lot.
hello .....my husband is suffering frm throat infection from past few months ....he smokes alot ..what can be the reasons for this regular coughing ??????? he is also suffering from headache that too on regular basis !!! plz help
Hi
Greetings from healthcare magic
Your husband is coughing past few months and is a smoker. so obviously it is smoker cough. Avoid the smoking ASAP. Thank you
all coughs are not due to sore throat. If your husband is not running fever then your husband most likely has acute bronchitis vs chronic bronchitis which could have got aggrevated due to smoking. Avoid smoking, cold food items, try cough syrup and consult a physician if it worsens
Throat infection can cause persistent cough, but since your husband is coughing for quite sometime it is advisable to get a chest x ray before taking too many medication before arriving at a correct diagnosis, and its always advisable to stop smoking as soon as possible.
hello.. ‘Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum’.
the frequent attacks of sore throat n cough can be due to smoking or an cute attack of bronchitis and the smoking aggravating it more..
in sore throat there is inflamation so.. luke water gargling will help to soothen the inflamtion.. eating honey and tusli will also be beneficial..
turmeric milk is also good for the coughing n sore throat..
avoid use of oily fried and spicy food.. and smoking..
stodal cough syrup is very effective for smoker cough and bronchitis.. its a homeoapthic medicine..
internal homeoapthic medicines will help to prevent the recurrent attack of cough n sore throat..
wishing him good health..
