My husband received a cortisone shot to his heel Thursday for plantar fasciitis. He tripped this morning and stepped really hard on that foot. He says his heel feels like it exploded and laid on the ground for 5 minutes before he could limp into the house. The bottom of the heel is swollen. We have applied an ice pack and taken ibuprophen. It hurts worse now, than it did before the shot. Should we do anything else?
