My Husband Sustained A C1 Vertebrae Fracture On 15/12/2014, Has

My husband sustained a C1 vertebrae fracture on 15/12/2014, has been in a Miami J collar since then.Scan after 12 weeks showed little union, and further scan and follow up appointment today stated some signs of healing. but very slow. Now stating he should stay in collar for further 6 weeks, with no mention of further scan, and just take collar off, no soft collar suggested, and return to very physical manual employment on light duties for 6 weeks. Previous consultation when non union reported, that Dr stated if after this scan.there was no considerable union ,they would refer my husband to Spinal UNIT in another area to discuss his options, I am very concerned, following today's appointment, that he is in danger of not receiving correct treatment, and at the least been given conflicting information. My husband is 59 years old
