My Husbands Blood Pressure Has Been 170/119, 169/122 And He

My husbands blood pressure has been 170/119, 169/122 and he has had vertigo as well. He is 5'11' and weighs 276 which is obese as we are aware. He also has Type II diabetes. We saw a primary care physician yesterday who has ordered a CT Scan but my concern is that the CT scan isn't scheduled until Tuesday, 4 days from now. My question is should we return to the primary care physician before Tuesday since his bp doesn't appear to be going down. It was 122/71 this morning before he got up and moved around. It's increased during the day.
