My Insurance Co. Just Denied Glycopyrrolate (in Conjunction With Gabapentin)

My insurance co. just denied Glycopyrrolate (in conjunction with Gabapentin) in order to control a hypothalamus problem. Instead, insurance is offering Pantoprazole, cimetidine, famotine, Omeprazole, or ranitidine. It is my understandinding that the meds the co. wants to substitute, is for excess stomach acid. I am not suffering from that condition. Is my understanding correct? (I am 81 yrs old and suffer from extreme sweating and hot flashes. My endocrinologist Rx'ed the first 2 drugs mentioned because I have suffered pulmonary embolisms and can no longer take hormones) I would appreciate an opinion. Thank you, Diane
