My mother who is 82 years old and lives in Chennai has started taking MONTEK LC - 1 tab in the nights since 10 days, as per her doctor's advice. She has slight asthma and started getting coughs very frequently. She also had vomiting and aversion for food and also felt very weak. After taking MONTEK LC alongwith PANTOCID IT, she got relief from the above symptoms. Meanwhile I have brought her to Balgalore, to stay with me for a couple of months. The doctor asked her to meet him after 10 days, which is now impossible. Through SMS, he asked her to continue both MONTEK LC and PANTOCID IT for 2 months, until she comes back to Chennai to meet him. I just want to know if it is safe to use these two medicines for a long time ( 2 months in this case )? Please clear my doubts.
