My Personal-care Physician Ordered An Echo Cardiogram And Called Me

My personal-care physician ordered an echo cardiogram and called me today with the results: whereas in 2011 my heart was pumping at "50 percent," now the test shows "30 percent." The physician now wants more tests done. I'm a 74 yo Caucasian male, very active in gardening and exercise; I consider my kidneys and all other organs in great shape (I do have a severe forward-leaning spinal curvature that, I think, is compressing my lungs and preventing proper respiration/oxygenation). What are the implications and portents here?
