My Son Eats Erasers. Is This Pica?

My son eats erasers every time he sees one. He is four years old and has been doing this for at least a year. Is this pica or a form of it? He was a preemie born at 31 weeks and although he is very smart in some areas he is very babyish in other areas

hello,welcome to healthcare magic forum.no its not pica in pica children eat mud,earthenware, your son is eating rubber it is a bad habit try to make him quit as soon as possible,it has become his habit to eat rubber,to break this habit you will have to constantly stop him not taking for 6 month,as for a habit to forget requires 6 month practice.,thank you take care bye
