My Son Was Diagnosed With Strep Throat & Also Have Swollen And Bleeding Gums. What Could This Be ?
I have a son who will be 2 August 24. He was running a fever Monday and was diagnosed with strep throat . He has been on antibiotics since Monday. At the same time, his gums are swollen, to the point of almost covering his eye teeth, and are bleeding with even the slightest touch. Reduced appetite and not sleeping well. What could this be ?

in children cause of swelling gums may be secondary to other disorder
first of all you should do blood test for CT,BT,platelet count,wbc count(TLC and dlc)
Hb count
it also needs detail physical examination
so its better to consult a nearby child specialist .
