My Thigh At The Top Has Got A Dented In Bit On It And It Feels Swollen
my thigh at the top has got a dented in bit on it and it feels swollen down below the dent i havnt hurt or banged my leg so dont know what it can be can u help
Dear anonymous,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I regret to say you are not very specific about the symptoms. We fail to understand the complete definition of 'dented in bit on it'. We realize this is not traumatic since you have'nt got hurt. But since there is a swelling and you've not mentioned about the onset, duration, progress and whether associated with pain either, I think you better take an appointment with an Orthopaedic surgeon at the earliest. After an initial clinical examination your doctor will suggest an X-ray or MRI depending on your clinical picture. That will confirm the diagnosis of your condition and allow us to decide the further management. Till the time the diagnosis is not established kindly refrain from taking medicines/physiotherapy. Once the X-rays are done mail it to me on atulosteoblast@gmail.com.
Remember.. always follow evidence based medicine.
Good day
