My Ultrasound Shows A Calcified Uterine Mass In The Posterior Fungal Region Of The Uterus Which Is Anteriorly Displacing The Endometrium. What Does This Mean?
My ultrasound showed calcified uterine mass in posterior fungal region of the uterus measuring approximately 5.5 x 5.8cm. This is anteriorly displacing the endeometium which was measured at 0.9cm. Possibly a portion of the mass or second feudal mass measured at 6.2x6.0cm but did not demonstrate calcification to confirm this is the same fungal mass. There appears to be large left sided mass estimated at least 5 to 6 cm although not discrete measured. There are believed to be masses at the mid and lower body of the uterus. There is a large mass arising from the anterior aspect of the lower uterine segment measuring 5.3x5.1x5.4cm this is also thought to be impinging upon the endometrium. What is endometrium and what does all this mean?
