Nausea After Colonoscopy. Blood Sugar Normal. Remedy?

My dad had a colonoscopy today. He became nauseous and vomited after the procedure. Came home, rested. Ate some soup, drank fluids, and rested most of the day. He ate a little more soup and drank fluids. He became I'll again late this evening, and has a headache. He also earlier took tyelenol. His procedure was at 10:30 and it is now 9:00. He is also type two diabetic, he took his blood sugar and its 153. Not too low, maybe elevated. What should he do?

Hi, your father had colonoscopy, becamenauseous, vomited, and feeling weak. He is diabetic with slightly elevated rbs.
It appears to be due to the premedication, or result of the anxiety of the procedure. First of all his sugar level must be brought to normal to prevent the infection at the site of procedure.
So i advise to consult his doctor to adjust the dose of the diabetis drugs. Thank you.
